Meet Jo-Ann

I am very happy to join the team here as the 2009 - 2010 Director of Membership. This organization has brought numerous women from all walks of life together by offering a safe space for women to be themselves.

It's my hope that WRIB will offer something for every woman out there, whether she has just taken the first step towards coming out and has a high level of uncertainty in her life, or whether she is at the stage where she is comfortable in her own skin and is looking to expand her circle of friends.

Duties of the Director of Women

The Director of Women is responsible for all membership management. This involves maintaining the WRIB membership list and mailing list. She is also responsible for receiving applications for membership, for forwarding paid fees to the Executive Director, for checking proxies, and for advising the Board regarding applications for membership, and suggesting appropriate actions.
