Meet Vona

It is nice to still be on board “no pun intended” the 12 years that I been involved with WRIB have flown by so quickly that I have seen many board members come and go and I am still here.

I have served many years on the Board of Directors and I will continue to do so for another term as I have a love for this organization that will continue to “Bring Women Together”.

It has been a truly rewarding experience working with the past board members, and will look forward to working with the new 2010/2011 Board of Directors.

Once again I look forward to getting to know our new members and volunteers and welcome them to this wonderful women’s organization called “WRIB”

Duties of the Director of Recreation

The Director of Recreation is responsible for overseeing all events sponsored by WRIB. This includes the following:

Ongoing Activities
Singles nights, couples nights, pub nights, book club and games nights, as well as any other regular social activities.

Special Activities
Events such as the annual Holiday Dinner Dance (HDD), Pride events, seasonal dances.

Athletic Activities
Bowling, cycling, golfing, skiing and any other sports-like activities.
