Meet Vona

My background for the past 20-plus years has involved working with people in the customer relations field.  I have and will always have a love for this organization and our motto is “Bringing Women Together” and that we do and will continue to do. I’ve enjoyed the last few years on the Board of Directors as the WRIB Director of Recreation and I look forward to another year of planning and organizing events. So if you want to meet a great bunch of women, we welcome you!

Duties of the Director of Recreation

The Director of Recreation is responsible for overseeing all events sponsored by WRIB. This includes the following:

Ongoing Activities
Singles nights, couples nights, pub nights, book club and games nights, as well as any other regular social activities.

Special Activities
Events such as the annual Holiday Dinner Dance (HDD), Pride events, seasonal dances.

Athletic Activities
Bowling, cycling, golfing, skiing and any other sports-like activities.
